2 Big Brother golden tickets found

Two more golden tickets were found and verified over the Bank Holiday weekend, Channel 4 has confirmed.

The news takes the number of winners so far to seven. A further 20 tickets - all yet to be registered with producers - are available on eBay, with bids reaching as high as £700. Additionally, three national newspapers - The Daily Star, The Sunday Mirror and The News of the World - are giving away tickets as competition prizes.

The claimants, which so far include an actor and a self-confessed playboy, will all battle it out for a spot in the house in a live televised final with Davina on Friday, June 9

Imogen and Sezer banned from nominating

The first round of nominations in the Big Brother house got off to a bumpy start after Imogen and Sezer were banned from taking part in the process, reports Ananova.

The pair took part in a discussion in which both implied that they would be nominating Richard.

Discussing nominations is forbidden by Big Brother and when the were both called to the diary room they were told they would not be able to vote.

They decided to keep their ban secret from the other housemates, apart from Grace and Mikey.

Housemates will find out later today who will face the public vote this week.

Sam confesses to being a guy

Sam has confirmed to the group that he is a male.

When Sam entered the house the majority of the housemates assumed he was a woman.

However, after the housemates became suspicious she confided in Richard.

He said: "I'm just so scared. I didn't know whether to tell people or not."

Minutes later Sam made an announcement to the group he said: "I'm actually a guy. I was totally paranoid and I didn't know whether to tell people or not."

The first round of nominations take place later with newcomers Aisleyne and Sam exempt.

George leaves Big Brother

Housemate George has walked out of the Big Brother house - because he doesn't want to be famous

George went into the Diary Room to confirm his decision to leave.

He said: "My reason for leaving the Big Brother house is the thought of fame and how I would like to continue my private life - and fame is too much for me."

George insisted: "I love everyone here and everything in the house."

When asked by Big Brother to describe his personal highlights, he replied: "The whole thing has been a highlight."

Big Brother asked George to illustrate his reasons for entering the house in the first place.

"It was for me to interact with new people and get out of my normal way of life," he explained.

"I thought it would be fun, entertaining... I've enjoyed every minute of it... It's been really, really fun getting to meet everyone."

George added: "I wanted to break the stereotypical public school view and I think I've achieved that."

He finished by telling Big Brother: "I'd like to remain friends with Grace - I think she's wicked."

Big Brother house haunted?

LISA and Mikey are convinced that the Big Brother house is haunted, reports the Mirror.

The pair think one of the beds is causing the housemates to row.

Lisa said: "I won't sleep in there because it's cursed."
Mikey agreed: "Yes, it is. When me and Grace slept in it the other night we had a little five-minute tiff.

"Then Sezer and Imogen had one when they slept in it."

But Pete disagreed. He said: "It's not cursed, it's comfortable."

Meanwhile, Richard hinted that he had pleasured himself in the house but confessed that he had now lost interest in sex.

He also revealed that he applied to be on Big Brother because "for me it's a lotto ticket".

New housemates come as a 'suprise'

Two new contestants emerged from red boxes in the garden to a mixed reception from the other 11 housemates.

Their appearance follows an eventful first week that saw two contestants leave and another evicted.

Bookmaker William Hill has made contestant Pete Bennett favourite to win the contest with odds of 8/11.

Sam has odds of 10/1, while Aisleyne is at 12/1 to win.

According to host Davina McCall, nail technician Sam from North Ayrshire is biologically a man but will be referred to as a woman for the purposes of the show.

Born in Indonesia, Sam is fluent in Malay, Indonesian and French and loves shopping and bingo.

Aisleyne from London is single, owns a cat called Princess and hopes to become a pop star.

The new housemates will be immune from this week's nominations.

Care worker Bonnie Holt became the first person to be evicted from the Big Brother house on Friday.

Her departure followed those of Dawn Blake, who was thrown out of the house the previous day, and Shahbaz Chauhdry, who left on his own volition earlier in the week.

New housemates join Big Brother

Two glamorous new arrivals got a mixed reception when they walked into the Big Brother house.

Aisleyne and Sam joined the house last night after Tourette's syndrome sufferer Pete Stephenson, 24, correctly answered three out of four quiz questions in a game show task.

But while some of the housemates made an effort to welcome the new arrivals, Imogen, Sezer and Grace merely exchanged pleasantries before going off to bitch behind their backs.

Sezer told the other two he intended to give Aisleyne, a model and promotions girl a "hard time", adding that the reason they had been brought into the house was to "even up the groups, because Richard's group is crumbling".

He added: "Lea and Richard are already latching on to them."

Imogen was very dismissive of Richard's attitude towards his new housemates, while Grace added to the bitchiness, saying: "That blonde one, you can imagine what she'll look like without make-up."

eBay golden tickets withdrawn

The internet auction site eBay has withdrawn the sale of the Big Brother “golden ticket”, insisting the seller has breached the terms of its user agreement.

The alleged finder of a golden ticket inside a Kit Kat chocolate bar claimed to have “no interest” in appearing on the show and put his ticket up for sale on eBay, attracting a number of offers, some of which exceeded £5m.

The website said the seller’s own terms of trade - and not what a spokeswoman called the “spoof bidding” - meant that it had to withdraw the offer.

Dawn denies cheating

Dawn Blake says she is "absolutely furious" with Big Brother bosses who booted her out for cheating.

Channel 4 chiefs said she had been expelled for a flagrant breach of their rules.

But Dawn insisted: "I was not evicted for cheating because there was no cheating. I'm absolutely furious about what's been said.

"They are claiming I boasted to the rest of the house about getting secret messages but I didn't. It's just nonsense."

BB chiefs said she had received a coded note from her sister advising her to leave the show.

But yoga instructor Dawn, 38, claimed she decided to leave after she was denied medication.

She said: "I walked out because I have eczema and I need cream for it which is in my suitcase.

"When they told me I could not get to my case I knew that was it. I decided to go. I can't believe what they're claiming because I did nothing wrong."

However, Dawn told housemates on Wednesday: "I have a code", after she heard her sister was ill, and added: "Something bad has happened. I need to leave."

Lea claimed Dawn had devised a plan with her family, saying if it wasn't going well on camera, she would receive a "sister is ill" message.

Shahbaz "cracked up in house"

Shahbaz Chauhdry has admitted he cracked-up while in the Big Brother house.

The 37-year-old who left just after four days on the show said: "I had a car crash breakdown on TV.

"What was happening was very psychological - all my demons were released. I was sinking and sinking - like the Titanic."

Earlier this week Shahbaz, from Glasgow, had threatened to commit suicide reports The Sun.

He added: "I was feeling suicidal. I went to talk to some lovely psychologists in the Diary Room, but I don't think they thought I was serious about killing myself. What happened to me was that I was stifled and choked by my own demons. I could not relate to anyone on any level."

He claimed he had not told show psychologists - who examine all the contestants before and during the show - about the depths of his black moods and depression.

"Instead of focusing on the others, attention seemed to fall on me. Everywhere I looked, there I was in the mirrors - and all I could see were the cameras. I was very frightened, I could see I was going to break down.

"I feel sorry that I couldn't handle it but I knew that I was having a very negative effect on my wonderful housemates. My breakdown sucked the love out of the house and I had to extract myself before I did myself or some decent person harm."

He says he would like to go back in the house he added: "I don't need any therapy - Big Brother was my therapy and I would go back in there again."

Three up for eviction

Bonnie, Dawn or Glyn will be evicted from the Big Brother house.

The three ended up for eviction when they were not chosen by the other housemates to be a member of the Big Brotherhood.

The Big Brotherhood entitles housemates to be exempt from eviction and receive their suitcases.

However, the two that survive the public vote will not get their suitcases back for the rest of their stay.

The non-Big Brotherhood housemates Bonnie, Dawn, Glyn, Nikki and Imogen had to line up and make a 30 second plea to join the group.

Dawn told the housemates that she had lots of funky clothes and wigs in her suitcase. "I really want to get to know you all. And there's lots more massages in store if you let me stay."

Nikki said she wanted in the big brotherhood because she was "honest and could solve group conflict".

Glyn said he wanted to be picked because he had to stand up for Wales, and Imogen pleaded not to be separated from Sezer.

After the announcement that Bonnie, Dawn and Glyn had been nominated Dawn said she would refuse to stay in the house without her suitcase.

The housemates begged her to stay, promising her their clothes.

Dawn ejected from Big Brother

Dawn has been kicked out of the Big Brother house for "coded communication with the outside world".

She was called into the diary room where she was told she had broken "one of the fundamental rules" of Big Brother.

Dawn was ejected straight away and had to leave through the Diary Room, without contact with the remaining housemates.

She was the second housemate to be ordered out of the house within 24 hours following Shahbaz's departure earlier in the week.

A Big Brother spokesman explained: "Before all housemates enter the house, Big Brother asks them whether there are any circumstances of a personal nature that they wish to be informed of, whilst in the house.

"Yesterday, a member of Dawn's family contacted Big Brother with a confidential message, which Dawn had stipulated she wished to be informed of, should the situation arise.

"This message was delivered to Dawn by Big Brother, in confidence and in good faith, in the Diary Room yesterday.

"Last night, Dawn revealed to the housemates, that the message Big Brother delivered, contained a pre-arranged code from her sister.

"As this is a fundamental breach of the rules, Big Brother removed Dawn from the house this afternoon."

Bonnie and Glyn continue to face the public vote and one of them will be evicted as normal on Friday night.

Shahbaz leaves Big Brother

The Big Brother contestants are still in shock after Shahbaz stormed out of the house.

Shahbaz was told to go to the Diary Room and was given an ulitmatum by Big Brother: "Get on with your housemates or get out."

Shahbaz who has had a string of arguments with the rest of the house and constantly been shouting and crying.

According to The Sun a show insider said: "It was the final straw. The situation was laid on the line to Shahbaz but he wasn't having any of it. He had one of his hissy fits and kicked off at Big Brother. There was no other option but for him to go."

After Shahbaz's exit the other housemates were summoned to the living room and George was given a message from Big Brother.

It read: "Shahbaz has left the Big Brother house and will not be returning."

Show bosses confirmed Shahbaz will not be replaced by a stand-by and Friday's eviction will still go ahead.

Bonnie faces the sack

Big Brother's Bonnie faces the sack in the real world after telling her bosses she was 'going to Skegness'.

Bonnie, who works as a care home assistant, did not tell her employers she was going to be on Big Brother 7.

She could be away from her job for more than three months if she manages to stay in the house to the end.

Her economy with the truth was revealed after Big Brother bosses phoned the care home where she works.

Meanwhile, four KitKat-munching Big Brother fans have now struck gold with the discovery of golden tickets in their wrappers.

It gives them a chance to enter the Big Brother house as a contestant.

Not the first BB for Sezer

The past week has not been the first Big Brother experience for Sezer.

According to The Mirror, the libidinous stockbroker was a test housemate two summers ago as the show's producers geared up for the fifth series of the show.

Apparently Sezer was just as partial to flirting with his female cohabitants then as he is now, claiming to have been seduced by "sex-mad siren" Becki, who would later appear on the series proper.

He told the newspaper: "She seduced me by sucking my toes in the Jacuzzi and then we spent most of our time in bed naked together.

"She was always running round topless or naked. She knows what she wants and, believe me, she gets it.

"Within three hours of arriving in the house, she took her top off and asked me to touch her boobs."

Despite their close encounters they never got around to having full sex as planned because Becki was evicted from the test-run and whisked away at the last minute.

Shahbaz put on suicide watch

Worried Big Brother bosses have asked psychologists to watch Shahbaz around the clock.

They put the flamboyant Scot on suicide watch after he made the most extreme threat ever heard on Big Brother.

Shahbaz, 37, dramatically told housemates that he planned to kill himself on live telly.

"I am a dead man walking," he said. "I came here to die on this programme - I'm going to prove it."

The self-styled "wacky Paki poof" had a huge row with the housemates, and then spent three hours cleaning the house and talking to himself while the others slept.

At 3am, he hid their food in the garden, muttering, "Now they'll f****** talk to me."

The row started on Sunday night when teetotal Shahbaz called Lisa, 27, an "imbecile" because he thought she was too drunk to complete a task.

Richard, 33, told everyone to ignore Shahbaz, and he then started to talk about dying.

As Shahbaz disappeared into the diary room, Dawn told the others: "I fear for his safety."

Lea told Pete that he has a future as a porn star, after he flashed his willy at housemates. He pulled his shorts down in the pool, causing the girls to gush, "Oh, my God!"

BB housemates confess

Big Brother housemate Lea has admitted she is a porn star.

The single mum who has 30M implants also recommended threesomes to the rest of the housemates.

Shahbaz also claimed he was a rent boy at 16 and went to jail for not paying fines while Pete confessed he has visited fetish clubs.

Big Brother Lea Walker porn Pictures

Blonde Lea Walker, 35, a divorced mum of one, sold her house so she could spend more than £20,000 on breast enlargements, liposuction, bottom cheek implants, tattooed lip liner and eyebrows and collagen filled lips.

And she showed it all off in an X-rated skin flick with porn actor Tony James, 30, the News of the World reports.

Tony told the News of The World "I'm sure Lea will have sex in the house. She can't get enough of it and those boobs will be straight out because she's a real exhibitionist. When it comes to sex she's very experienced and knows how to please her man. We did it in every position possible."

Lea had her breats enlarged from AAA cup size. Tony said "With all her ops she looks like a plumped up Pamela Anderson and it is the boobs which really stand out."

Her bust is so big it caused a diversion on the M1 when Tony gave her a lift back to her Nottingham home after filming their mucky movie. He said "She kept opening her top and flashing her boobs at truckers driving past, I'm surprised she didn't cause a pile up".

Lea revealed her passion for porn in a documentary on the Men and Motors channel. She told viewers "I've always enjoyed sex and a friend said to me it was silly not doing porn and making money out of it when I loved sex as much as I do".

"I've worked in the adult industry for 5 years working in a licensed shop where porn were on for 10 hours a day".

"All the time I was watching them and thinking I could do better so I sold my house and used the money for the operations. I've had boob jobs, liposuction, tummy tucks, botox and Iv've got false nails, hair extensions and false tan".

Lea shot her first porn movie in Bristol last year. Tony revealed "She seemed a natural. Looks wise she's perfect for movies, with her big boobs, big lips and blonde hair".

"She semed a bit nervous and had a few drinks, but once we started she was fine. She had a lot of scars from the surgery but her body looked good".

"I think she was good enough to make a decent career out of it".

One time factory machinist, Lea has had an on-off relationship with body artist Greg Russell since splitting with her husband six years ago.

Sexy pictures of BB's Nikki Grahame

“She has groped and licked other models at parties and just sees it as a laugh.”

Record viewers for Big Brother launch night

The opening night of the seventh series of Big Brother set a new record when more than eight million people tuned in.

A peak of 8.1m people, 36.6% of those watching television at the time, watched the new housemates enter the house.

It was the highest ratings since Big Brother began in 2000. The show attracted an average of 7 million viewers and a 30.8% audience share.

Angela Jain, Channel 4 Commissioning Editor for Big Brother, said, "This heralds the most fantastic kick start to Big Brother yet.

"As always, there are many twists and turns ahead, among them the golden ticket winner, and we remain as committed as ever to making this year's Big Brother as entertaining as the rest."

Big Brother throws in an early twist

The first night would not be the first night without a sting in the tale.

Just after 1am Big Brother summoned all fourteen housemates to the lounge and asked them to nominate two people to enter the diary room.

From the several volunteers, Lisa and Nikki were chosen - although moments before entering the diary room, Nikki backed out in fear of an evil twist. Shahbaz instead took her place.

Once in the diary room, Big Brother informed the pair that they were "very brave" housemates before explaining what was in store for them.

"Lisa and Shahbaz, you are now the founding members and leaders of a very exclusive organisation - the Big Brotherhood," said BB. "Members of the Big Brotherhood will be afforded special privileges. Privilege number one: only members of the Big Brotherhood will receive their suitcases.

"Privilege number two: members of the Big Brotherhood will be immune from the first eviction next week."

As a final privilege, Lisa and Shahbaz will be responsible for selecting new members to join the Big Brotherhood - but only when Big Brother invites them to. As well as receiving their suitcases, these new members will also be immune from the first eviction.

The duo were warned not to discuss potential Big Brotherhood members with anyone else and, upon exiting the diary room, they chose only to reveal that they alone would be receiving their suitcases.

Unbeknownst to them, however, the rest of the group had been watching the dialogue on the lounge plasma screen - but collectively decided to play dumb to avoid making it worse for the brave pair.

As the reality of the twist began to sink in, Nikki - who entered the house in a playboy bunny outfit - became progressively more distraught.

"I can't stay like this for the next week," she told Shahbaz, adding: "Well, unless it gets sunny."

Big Brother housemates arrive

Four models, two gay men, a couple of socialites, a stockbroker and a singer with Tourette syndrome are among the contestants in this year's Big Brother.
The 14 hopefuls are aiming to last the full 13 weeks and win £100,000 in the Channel 4 reality TV house.

A member of the public will join them through a competition to find golden tickets in chocolate bars.

Producers have said the seventh series - which lasts until mid-August - would be "more twisted than ever".

This year the programme will be going head-to-head with the World Cup during much of June and July but the producers are confident their ratings will hold up.

One contestant, Pete, 24, from south London, has Tourette syndrome and sings in a band as well as being an aspiring comedian and cartoonist.

This year's Big Brother contestants include Tourette sufferer Pete
Gay Muslim Shahbaz, 37, from Glasgow, described himself as a "wacky Paki poof" who has been unemployed for 21 years and likes knitting.

Thirty-five-year-old Lea, from Nottingham, claimed to have won Miss Butlins in 1975 and had since spent £35,000 on plastic surgery.

Entering the house in a bunny costume, Nikki, 24, from Middlesex, also has false breasts and said her dream was to marry a Premiership footballer.

Imogen, 23, is a former Miss Wales, while 18-year-old lifeguard Glyn believes he is "the closest example to perfection".

Mikey, 22, from Liverpool, claimed to hate feminists and ugly people, while Dawn, 38, from Birmingham said she did not like people in general and did not want to make friends.

Unemployed gay Muslim Shabaz, 37, is a knitting enthusiast
Nineteen-year-old George is a former public schoolboy and the son of a former private secretary to Prince Charles.

Dance teacher Grace, 20, is a self-confessed "Sloane ranger", while loudmouth Lisa, 27, from Manchester, said she would be nominated because she is so direct.

Turkish Cypriot entrepreneur and stockbroker Sezer, 26, claimed to have gone from being a tea boy in the City of London to owning his own trade company at the age of 19.

Bonnie is a 20-year-old care worker with an ambition to be "more famous than Madonna", while Canadian-born gay waiter Richard appeared in a white vest and Stetson hat.

Viewers can also win a place in the house by finding one of 100 golden tickets in Kit Kat bars, with the winner drawn at random on 2 June.

Nikki said she wanted to "get noticed by rich and famous men"
The longest UK version of the show so far will see some contestants remain cut off from family, friends - and the World Cup - until mid-August.

"More than ever before, the Big Brother house will be a difficult place to live in," a Channel 4 spokesperson said.

This year's "inside out" house, which includes a carpeted garden and grass in the kitchen, has been described as "the seventh circle of Hell" by designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.

Housemates will share one bedroom and one bathroom, all surrounded by glass walls.

Last year, 7.8 million people tuned in to see dancer Anthony Hutton win the show's £50,000 prize.

Double beds for Big Brother 2006

Big Brother chiefs have reportedly put three double beds into this year's house, in the hope of encouraging more sexual action.

There were two double beds in last year's series, but a third has been added for 2006, and consequently two contestants will have to share a bed right from the start of the programme.

If that was not enough, the bath tub is apparently easily big enough for three people at once, giving the impression that the Big Brother bosses are keen to encourage intimacy all over the house.

According to The Sun, there will also be a 5-ft rabbit shaped hedge which will house a hidden camera.

Sunday, May 14, 2006

Big Brother 7 to be 'twisted'

Big Brother will be "more twisted than ever" this year, according to the Channel 4 reality show's producers.
Housemates will share one bedroom and one bathroom, all surrounded by glass walls. Executive producer Claire O'Donohoe said: "Cosy is not the word."

The house, where contestants will live for 13 weeks from 18 May, will be "inside out", with grass in the kitchen and carpet in the garden.

Ms O'Donohoe said this year's contestants would be more exposed than ever.

"There are more glass walls in the house design and no hidey holes like last year's loft," she said.

"So the housemates will find it very difficult to get away from one another."

Contact with the outside world is forbidden, so housemates will also be forced to miss the World Cup.

Competition for Big Brother place

A member of the public will win a place in this year's Big Brother reality TV show through a competition to find golden tickets inside chocolate bars.
One hundred tickets will be placed in Kit Kat bars and the winner will be picked at random during a live TV show.

"This is a first for Big Brother. We are always looking for ways to find brilliant housemates," Big Brother commissioning editor Angela Jain said.

About 25,000 hopefuls applied to join Big Brother 7, which begins on 18 May.

The golden ticket competition opens on the same day and closes on 2 June. It is not yet clear when the contestant will join the house.

The 100 winners will have to pass thorough background checks before going through to the live final.

The producers have not revealed any other secrets about the upcoming series, but promised it would be filled with "twists and turns".

"We're hoping to make it the biggest and best," Mr Osborne said at the Glasgow auditions earlier this year.

Big Brother betting

Arguments, tears, drunken flirting, the diary room and crazy tasks all conspire to make Big Brother the must see TV show every year. Arguably the best TV show and the father of the reality TV show genre the show has captured the imagination of the viewing and betting public like no other.

Click here to bet on Big Brother

The show gets the nation talking and also stimulates a lot of betting interest. Betfair offers odds that are 20% better than high St bookmakers and is worth checking out if you’re considering Big Brother betting.

Big Brother shuts away contestants from the outside world. They are filmed 24/7 and the housemates must wear a microphone at all times. The contestants have to vote to put each other up for eviction and perform tasks, which leads to an emotionally charged environment that frequently goes off with a bang. The viewing public gets to vote off the contestants they don’t like. It is this unpredictable voting system that lies at the heart of Big Brother betting.

The show started life in Holland and exploded onto English screens in 2000 gaining a massive audience straight away. Who can forget the tearful confession of “Nasty Nick” after he was caught cheating or the broad smile of Craig as he was crowned winner and promised to give away his £60,000 pound prize?

Since then there have been more Big Brothers. The last BB 5 saw transsexual Nadia triumph over the other 12 contestants and she has since gone on to start a career in pop music. Many of the contestants have found celebrity status after their time in the house, a fact which no doubt explains why the producers are inundated with applications for every series.

Big Brother betting can be undertaken several ways on Betfair, you can place bets in the traditional way by Backing or you can offer odds, known as Laying. By offering Big Brother odds you are taking on other punters head to head.

Betfair has also introduced the fast paced in-play Big Brother betting which means you can play as the event is live. There is a time delay between the bet is processed in order to protect bettors who wish to cancel or edit a bet if something dramatic happens. This is the only difference between in-play and normal betting. So you can compete with other punters over who you think will get slung out, who’ll get nominated and who you think will stay the course.

Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother 7 promises to inspire more Big Brother betting but without a good look at the contestants it is impossible to arrive at a betting strategy. But you can bet on the fact the contestants will be a mixed bunch and chances are they’ll want to be famous.

Shahbaz - BB housemate from hell?

Rumoured Big Brother 7 contestant Shahbaz Choudhary has been described as the housemate from hell.

The cross-dressing Glaswegian apparently craves attention and has had a series of bust-ups with neighbours who are affected by his wild behaviour.

A friend told the Sunday Mirror, "He is every housemate's worst nightmare. When he tacks on to people, he sticks to them like a glue and won't leave them alone. Shahbaz seems unable to see how his behaviour affects other people. He may be nearly 40, but he is as self-obsessed as a teenager and desperate for fame.

"He goes out in fancy dress in a bid to get discovered, or at least get some attention. But it's this outlandish, attention-seeking behaviour that has led to clashes with neighbours as well as strangers. He just seems to rub people up the wrong way and that ends up in bust-ups."

Deal or No Deal for Big Brother housemates?

Big Brother is hoping to convince Noel Edmonds to get involved in this year's series, The People claims today.

Producers apparently want Edmonds to host a special Deal Or No Deal-style challenge for the new set of housemates.

A source told the newspaper, "Big Brother would love to get him involved in their show. They are currently pulling out all the stops to make sure he is there, inside the house."

Another insider added, "There are lots of twists and turns planned into this year's tasks. It is all being kept top secret but even Deal Or No Deal could turn nasty."

A spokesperson for the show explained, "I can't confirm or deny any names at this stage."

Betting on Big Brother to be big this year

This year’s Big Brother in the UK is set to spark a £10m (€14.67m) betting bonanza, according to bookmakers.

William Hill predicts the Channel 4 show will lead to the biggest betting spree in reality TV history when it kicks off nextweek.

The £10m figure is double the amount waged on previous series.

William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams said: “In the space of five years, reality TV betting has become a multi-million pound industry and is the bet of choice for many punters who feel that, as they are the judge of who wins, then surely they know as much as the bookies.”

The bookmaker is offering odds of 8/13 for amale winner and 6/5 for a female winner.

Other odds include 2/1 that pregnant presenter Davina McCall will give birth before the end of the show, 5/4 that a couple will have sex on camera, 4/1 that a housemate will escape and 16/1 that a celebrity housemate will be brought in for at least a week.

Chantelle back in the Big Brother house again?

Producers are hoping that Celebrity Big Brother winner, Chantelle, will be up for visiting the house sometime during the forthcoming series to spice things up.

A source told the Star: “Obviously getting Chantelle back in the house would be great for the show. She’s become a huge star since winning so a return will be really weird for her.

“But show bosses know that sending her back in there if only for a day would be great for the fans.”

Chantelle: This Is My Life

Now, we don't want to put a damper on things...

But does five minutes of fame and a mere 22 years on the planet really merit an autobiography?

It seems that publishers Random House think so, and the rumour is that Celebrity Big Brother winner Chantelle Houghton has been offered a £300,000 deal for her life story.

She will join other young stars soon to write their memoirs in their early twenties, including Wayne Rooney and Billie Piper.

We can't think that a job as a Paris Hilton lookalike and a stint in the Big Brother House will provide too much in the way of worldly wisdom and life lessons.

But we're sure there'll be plenty of people interested in hearing what she's got to say, from her Essex upbringing to her relationship with fellow Big Bro housemate Preston.

Don't start placing your advance orders yet, though. A spokeswoman for Random House refused to comment.

Jade Goody can't spell - suprised?

Goodness knows how Jade Goody managed to write a whole book.

She's admitted that she struggles to spell her own name.

The ex-Big Brother contestant made the admission as she signed copies of her autobiography for fans in Leeds, telling them: "I can't talk or I will spell me name wrong. I need to concentrate."

The Sun reports her as saying. " My mind keeps going blank - I keep forgetting how to spell me own name."

Quick-witted fans, who anticipated Jade's trouble with words, had printed their names onto stickers for her to copy.

But it looks like Jade will get the last laugh.

Her book, simply titled My Autobiography, is expected to become a best-seller this week.

Perhaps she can use the cash to buy herself a dictionary?
